Depends on what kind of "retirement" check it is, how much, who's paying it, and your weekly UI amount. I guess the simplest answer to your question is that YES you will be eligible for UI based on the reason for your separation, but it is unknown if you will actually get paid any UI money because of the imprecise nature of your question.
i retire from the state of Florida and went back to work with contractor got laid off will i still be able to draw unemployment even doe i get a check once a month.
Whatever portion of this pension is partly or fully-funded by the State will be deducted from your weekly benefit, as was stated in the post immediately above yours, here:
