Pls.... Help!!!! I been collecting since February 2010. I'm on my 4 the extension...after my 4th extensions finishes which it will be like in 3 weeks it will be exhausted.. so my question is do I qualify for Fed ed if my 4th tier exhausted??? How do I know or what do i need to qualify for FED ED extension???? I'm clueless about this.. really dont know or understand how this works.. don't really know anyone thats been on unemployment for so long and i'm so stressed out losing hair lol.. not kidding... I'm in California. Been looking for jobs like crazy no luck.. any one thats gotten this far knows if i qualify for Fed ed and what do I need to qualify?? Still have 3 weeks left on my 4th extension and im scared I wont find a job and wont qualify for FFed ed....

We're in California too, and I just started receiving my FED ED extension checks.
I didn't have to do anything. I just got a letter saying it would automatically be filed for me.

That's how it goes. It will be automatically filed for you once you have exhausted all of your tiers. Its usually a 2-3 day delay so don't worry.

If you were eligible for 26 weeks' state benefits and all the tiers and if you do not have a misconduct penalty, you qualify. If your initial claim qualified you for 12-16 weeks benefits, you may not depending on the $$ amount of the claim.
