I am wondering what kind of questions are usually asked during re-certification process? My BYE date is coming up in December, and I am wondering what kind of info I would need to provide them with? Can anyone give me some examples? Thanks.

Im not familiar with this, what is "re-certification"?
Re-certification is when you reach your BYE date and you must make a VOICE CALL and speak to an agent who will check your eligibility to continue the current claim or issue a new claim. You will be asked the typical weekly certification questions and also if you had any employment since the beginning of your claim. If there was any employment in that time, be prepared to give dates, gross wages, and names/addresses of those employers.

Thanks! Ive never had to do that; its all automatic in CA. Ive been on UI for 1.5 years now.
Yes, emma1329, in CA you have to phone EDD at the BYE to re-certify. Don't try to do this online.
When my BYE was up last April I was worried about it but the posters here assured me it was a quick and easy process. They were right.
The only questions asked were simple ones like "are you still looking for work?" and "is this address still current?"
My BYE is coming up in December also. Were you able to contact a live person at the toll-free EDD number? From what others have posted, it seems like a nightmarish thing to have to go through. I just don't want to have to go through any unnecessary aggravation, if possible.

I wonder what would happen if I did what you did, and if the continuation/extension would be automatic?
