I had part time job while collecting UI and quit for another part time one. I did nothing but kept claiming my earnings, they don’t ask for employer names just if your working I was honest

Going on Tier 1 will this be a problem and will they know about the one I quit?

Thank You

That's a really good question. Most anyone else with a part-time job question wants to quit entirely because they realize it's not worth it to work part time while on unemployment.

Personally, I think you're heading for trouble. A quit is quit.

However, save those paystubs from the old and new job. I'm sure if you can prove that the new part-time job was better than the old, and because of logistics you couldn't work both simultaneously then you just might be fine.

When PA does its monetary review before you begin Tier 1, it may turn up the different employers and query you and/or them about your term of employment. Given the way PA has been operating of late, I think it is unlikely you will have a problem. Also, you did essentially replace one set of earnings with another. That said, anything is possible. There may be an investigation.

Keep us posted on what happens. Thx.
