Can u file for unemployment if u were working with staff agency? (UI, employee)

So I was working with a company for 10 months and I was told there was a law that u can't work more than 11 months. So basically they let u go or hire u. Of course it's a lot cheaper for them to get new temps so they don't pay benefits.

Only if you were paying into the UI system. This either means you were w2 with the staffing agency or you were paying yourself on a w2 through an entity that was on 1099 with the staffing agency.

When using an iPhone* it's normal to use shorthand. It is also not unusual for auto-correct** to incorrectly correct a spelling mistake.

OP: Spelling has no impact on your ability to file unemployment. I want to correct my previous post and clarify that you can file for unemployment no matter what the scenario. There are no restrictions for filing.
