'Hire me!': Unemployed man pays $300 to plead for work on giant billboard... and gets a job

An unemployed man desperate for a job has found one - after putting his face on an electric billboard with the words: 'Hire Me!'

Bennett Olson, from Rosemount, Minnesota, shelled out $300 for his face to rotate with other adverts for 24 hours on the billboard placed near Minneapolis.

Good idea, but being desperate after a month is a bit far fetched in this economy, If it would have been a year and a half I might be a bit more sympathetic.

There was a guy in WI last year who walked our main downtown thoroughfare with a billboard asking for work. Dressed in suit, tie, etc. News & TV picked it up. Got a number of offers. Not sure about his qualifications. As I recall, he took a sales job. Didn't sound all that great to me. Haven't heard of him since.
