Claim form usually every 2 weeks...now just 1 week (collect, state, employment)

Hi...I submit my claim forms via the webcert usually every two weeks. However, on a fluke, I just happened to look at my claim form this eve and it said I had a form ready to submit but it was only for 1 week versus the 2 weeks I'm used to seeing.

Does anyone know why this is?

Since I submit and do mostly everything online, I haven't been opening the paper claim forms and I'm afraid I may have missed something.

How long have you been collecting unemployment and what state are you in?

Hi....I have only been collect for 6 months. I'm in the state of CA.

That's why. For 26 weeks, there is also the 1 week waiting week. 26+1=27 an odd number. Therefore, you did your first claim, and got 1 week with one week the waiting week. Now on this one, you are collecting that last week. Then you'll transition to EUC if eligible.
