No award letter received.... but I received Continued Claim (file, work, state)

I recently filed for unemployment in march seeing this was the first time I filed for unemployment I did not know about the quarter system, after I realized I could receive alot more if I filled in April 3X the amount I quickly called and cancelled my claim, my old employer offered me a job to work on a special project which then allowed me to have a new file date, the special project just came to an end and with that the job...

my question is this I just refiled for unemployment after a few days I received my continued claim for this new file however I did not receive a Award Letter, just the information to file with Cal Jobs within 21 days but no Award letter does any one have any experience regarding opening a new claim with a different end date in within 30 days of each other? I definitely called and canceled the last claim, spoke with somebody who told me they would cancel my claim.

I've been trying and trying to call to no Avail....
is there anyway to check my award amount?
I've email and emailed over and over again I know just don't have anything else to do...

let me know what you guys think waiting on the mail today to see if maybe it comes today, just wanted to see what kinda experience anyone on here may of had dealing with this before...

You need to call CA. Read the last few pages of this thread. People have had good success getting through almost immediately:

Yes, there may be a problem because of the earlier cancelled claim. We had another poster a week or so ago saying she'd been waiting 8 weeks for a determination after cancelling an earlier claim. Have not heard back from her.

So, call CA. Let us know what happens. It is very helpful to hear back on a resolution.

I am experiencing the same issue of having received the "continued claim" letter but not the award letter. One must have the award amount before they can submit the continued claim.. did you have any luck discovering the amount awarded online?

When applied?
Discharged? Quit? Laid Off?

I too received continued claim form day 9 after filing haven't received award letter yet. Is it mailed from different locations
