Most of us got fooled again. As we have for the last 3 months. given nothing but false hope. If Reid really wanted to get this done he would have made them work Fri and Sat. and now the House GOP say it's too late to pass an extension. Gee, wonder which party dragged it out specifically for that reason.

If I were Boehner I'd be afraid to go home at night. That man must get threats from the many of us he's given the shaft

Reed said Democrats, including Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and Ways and Means ranking member Sander M. Levin, D-Mich., will encourage House action on the EUC measure.

We just need the recent enthusiasm from Senate Republicans to trickle over to their friends in the House.

Does anyone think House Republicans, all of whom will face re-election in 222 days, are prepared to ignore a popular, bipartisan unemployment bill that would create hundreds of thousands of jobs?

OK, you guys were warned. After having to delete another dozen posts, including one hoping for a death thread against Boehner, this thread is now closed.
