Well I was pretty much forced to quit last week and did. It was "suppose" to be quitting time but there were a bunch of packages to still go out and shipping company guy was waiting to take them. My coworkers, who were suppose to help, it's their responsibility also, decided I should be the only one to get the work done. They told me I better hurry up and get it done while they walked away laughing and went and sat in their car. No supervisor/management in the building to go to, that kind of stuff went on all the time, but that was it, I'd had it. On top of not being told 12 hours/day was needed to do the job during the hiring process, this job wasn't worth it. I filed an UI claim (IL) and hopefully will get a hearing. That job was more then unsuitable in my opinion, but that will be up to UI to decide. Meanwhile, back to job hunting and a waste of 3 months.
How about that! Just checked our bank account and I got my unemployment back after leaving the job from hell. Had the one phone interview about 3 weeks ago and never notified of the outcome, until I saw the deposit today. Woo Hoo!
