hi,
I put in a claim on 11/30/2016 and have since filed a weekly claim. No money has been paid ever. Claim status is still pended. I have called multiple times but have not gone through to an agent. I have not received any request for interview or even a call rather. What can I do?

Write a state legislator.

I actually got through to an agent yesterday. they asked me to fax my license, SS card to a fax number with a reference. I faxed this yesterday. Can someone tell me how long it takes after to get paid?

It really doesn't matter at this point; something went or is seriousness wrong with your claim. Get a State Legislator or the Governors office involved immediately. This may be fixed quickly or it may still get dragged out, so stop waiting for elusive information and and get some elected official to help now.

Made claim in NJ on 7/9/17. Interview on 8/15/17. When should I get my money? And I've already waited about 6 weeks. After my interview my status changed to pended. How much longer can they make me wait.

They take about 6 to 8 weeks because so many get "simple" misconduct. By the time you get your interview, your disqualification period is over.

Made my claim on 7/9/17 had phone interview on 8/22/17 still saying pended when should I expect to hear something? It's bad enough I had to wait a month and a half for phone interview now gotta wait more smh THIS is just a big waiting game. I was terminated from my job because my son was real sick in and out of hospital and I asked for family leave then my boss called me on the phone and said I was terminated, I guess from ansents never received a written warning I never received termination papers

They're probably investigating your claim to see if you're eligible. Could take weeks or months depending on facts of the case.

You'll most likely get nothing. This raises an able and available issue in conjunction with what looks like "simple" misconduct.

When your kid is better and you can lead a normal life, then reopen your claim and get a doctor's note while you're at the doctor attesting that your child is better or you'll just have to deal with it later and waste more time.

UI is NOT a sympathy system so your sick kid hurts you, not helps you.
