CA EDD question? (receive, claim, work, UI)

I applied for UI benefits 01/12/20. On 01/27/20 I received a continued claim which was supposed to be submitted 01/26/20. Anyways I still called it in late tele-cert since I received it late. I couldn't do it online since I didn't have a customer account number yet. On 01/31/20 I got the customer account number along with an award letter and a letter asking if i prefer debit card or paper check and to send it back if I wanted paper. After signing in with the account number my claim form staus says disqualified for both 1st weeks. They never sent a letter requesting and interview or deterimation letter yet. My most recent job was temporary due to company closing and only lasted a month long. They gave me a paper of change in relationship with the company- Involuntary store closure. And gave me an edd information packet. My last check had a earnings from a couple last days worked + an additional week of WARN PAY. My employer before most recent is the only one that shows on quarterly earnings which I worked woth them for a year but I indeed voluntarily quit for personal reasons and didn't have time to put in a 2 week notice. So my questions are can my employer before the last one fight the UI claim? Secondly, I ended up receiving a small random check from my last employer that says it's for WAIT TIME from an issue with a prior check and I forgot to report it on my continued claim form. So could either of these two issues cause the continued claim form to be disqualified? Can they automatically deny me without having an interview or requesting further info? FYI- On the application I did select laid off and reported WARN PAY
