So I have a part-time job that only grants me with 12 hours a week. Sometimes I cover shifts but still it does not exceed 25 hours a week. My hours were decreased and my other job shut down due to Covid, so I decided to apply.

Now, I received the EDD notice in my mail. It seems my mail was late and I won't be able to fill on time. The information on the main page is wrong. Like I list my current employer and the paper acts like it is my last employer and final date I worked for was the last day of the other job that shut down, which is wrong. Rewards show 0. Not sure if that is 0 cause I did not list what I made per paycheck, I thought it was optional. I keep calling and emailing and everything and no help.

Last week, I had an offer that was less than min wage (But apparently in that city it is not min wage) and I accepted out of desperation but then realized it was not a good choice. It was paying less than min wage, part-time and would mess schedule-wise with my other job. So I told them I won't do it. I also applied with a temp agency and they still haven't offered me any temp work.

My friends say I should not mention it since there was no payment involved. So I want to avoid any lies and penalties. The first week is fine but that occurred the second week. So on the second week I put down that I was given an offer but it was not good? Am I screwed? Sorry, I am totally clueless when it comes to unemployment, never done it before.

They pick and choose what to answer to , it’s so childish but I’ll try to help from my knowledge, it depends on how much you made during each quarter. So maybe you wasn’t at this job for long and didn’t meet the requirements.. so they went to your previous employment and maybe you weren’t there for long either so u probably don’t qualify . & I’d say don’t mention it unless u gave them your social & etc
