Glad to hear. just make sure you answer the pop up questions correctly when you certify for PEUC weeks.

Yes child support is one thing that doesn't get skipped over for any of the benefit programs, so yes PEUC payments should continue deducting them.

This is a silly question but I just wanna be sure.

When you exhaust all 26 wks of regular UI you should be eligible for the 13 wk extension right?
The reason is I worked part-time so I still have alot of monetary amount left, just not any more weeks to claim.

BTW, what would happen to the remaining amount? Will it be erased and replaced with the 13 week amount?

I've seen others say that even though the 26 weeks technically were up due to them having partial weekly benefit rates they were able to continue claiming until the balance went to zero.

Re: when does your benefit year expire on the claim?

My benefit year expires on 3/21.

That's interesting how you can keep claiming even after all the weeks are spent, perhaps I can squeeze this out till next year? hehehe.

No you don't want to squeeze too long because PEUC extension ends on 12/31/20. LOL But I get what you mean. Yours should be an easy transition to PEUC (although at this point in NJ one never knows) because you aren't able to even attempt to file a new claim since benefit year good til 3/21.

Ahhh I see, didn't even think about that. Then I guess it would be best if they switch me over to PEUC after the 26 weeks are spent, hopefully that is. Thanks.

Just wanted to let everyone know that today Certified for 13 week extension all went just as Scraprsmith said. Waiting for email to say funds were sent to be sure. Thank you Scraprsmith for all the information you share. A pop up with the questions you listed on another thread popped up and all went through to certify. The information you share helps many, not only helps but relieves stress for those of us who don't know what they are doing (collecting for the first time under this situation was rough). Thank you City Data too for having this forum so we can get and share information.
Good luck to everyone.
