do people who have 57 weeks of unemployment get 11 more weeks now, or is the max still 57 weeks? (collect, extension)

52 weeks in a year, so my claim ended last money, but I had to call in and I ended up still getting more weeks as they paid me today direct deposit.
I know Im reaching the 57 week mark soon, is this extra $300 that starts next week going to give me 11 more weeks? or once I reach 57 weeks, that's it?

For 59-week exhausters! Someone I know spoke to NY DOL today and they were told you will go back to your old claim for the 11 week extension. You will not stay on PUA and you will be able to certify on the exhausted claim this coming week... don’t shoot the messenger I’m just relaying some positive hope!!!

makes sense that regular UI claimants who exhausted 26 + 13 PEUC + 20 EB would be put back on PEUC 11 weeks... 11 weeks was added to PEUC for a total now of 24 weeks and 11 weeks added to PUA for a total of 50 weeks.
Guidelines have always stated that a person must be denied regular UI first and can't be eligible for PEUC to collect PUA.. so it also makes sense that a person who exhausted 59 and was then switched to PUA would have to be switched back to PEUC to collect the 11 weeks on that versus allowed to stay on PUA.
Thanks for the updated info.. I'm in NJ. but US DOL issues the same guidelines to all states so appreciate the update.
In the same boat. As of today still the “benefits are not payable for weeks after..” but
status still show “-on extension” so reading this thread looks like once it goes through we get it too. I was never switched to PUA. 50something weeks ended in November
At the end of October the CDLE sent me a letter saying that they cannot pay more than 52 weeks. OK, fair enough.
I kept requesting payments for $0 on my claim to keep it from going inactive in case I might qualify for any extensions.
Then at the end of Nov they suddenly payed me for 8 weeks (SEB I think). SEB ended on 11/28. Then they reopened my PUA claim (I was on that for 10 weeks as an extension in the spring, before PEUC was set up). I got paid for the 4 weeks in Dec from PUA.
Right now everybody on Colorado UI is on hold while CDLE updates their system to a new UI portal, and updates for the new stimulus extensions. I don't know if I will be eligible for any extensions, being past 52 weeks, but I expect to be put back on PUEC.

thats right,
people are switching back from PUA to their original claim as that is the correct way.
spoke to a level 3 specialist who invalidated my PUA and activated my old claim, still waiting until Tuesday for updates to certify. and while she did that, she had to speak to her supervisor to go over it.

correct, once the extension was passed, claimants are eligible for PEUC therefore cannot be on PUA.
note to self, DON'T EVER GO TO PUA FROM ORIGINAL/REGULAR/TRADITIONAL UI.

glad you didn't go on PUA, its not worth the $182 multiple 5 weeks
and then have to call back to get switched back to old claim.
if is if the option was zero for those weeks x 5. Just saying! LOL
True. Five weeks of something is better than 5 weeks of nothing, especially if you can be switched back to higher paying WBA.
Now here is an interesting thought....when my benefits exhausted mid November (26/13/20wks), I did not apply for PUA. I was hoping for a stimulus package to come through soon.
If I had applied and was on PUA, I would have been switched to the new 11 weeks PEUC extension.
But now since I am not actively collecting benefits, will I get lost in the shuffle or will they apply PUA to me from 11/14-12/26 and then switch me over to PEUC ...or just switch me over to PEUC?
