Ok in 2009, I had 2 jobs. Lost my main full time job which was my highest paying but still had my parttime job (basic job)
I filed unemployment with CA EDD in March 2009 which states on my checks im getting from EDD.
Today I received my claim form with 1 week with $344 left and week 2 is all XXXX'd out, I sent out form and im sure i wont be using all that.
So I been on unemployment for almost 1year but since i was working part time I havent been collecting full check cause second job is low paying part time cashier job.
So im unsure if I been on second or so on extension... but i dont think i gotten any of those yet.
So my question is....... about extensions.
Will I receive an extension from EDD? cause this check for 2-20, im sure ill have some money left over. I very worried cause getting a regular job in my field is a pain....
Please any help would be helpful.
just the edd site is so confusing

You'll get an automatic extension from EDD. The same thing happened to me, and I'm on a new claim. I'm on my second year of unemployment. If you find the thread called," How to get through to a live body at CA EDD," you can call them and ask them.

Three things.

1.
If you are still collecting on the one-year anniversary of your claim, you must take action for your payments to continue or to establish a new claim. Your benefits will be held until you speak to an agent.

2.
Tier to Tier transition - no action required on your part.
State Benefits must be exhausted by CLAIM WEEK ENDING Saturday February 20, 2010 to be eligible for the EUC Tier Program. OR Federal EUC Tier I or II or III must be exhausted by CLAIM WEEK ENDING Saturday February 27, 2010 to collect the next Tier - if it's not exhausted by then, you just finish the current Tier. The NEXT Tier is automatically filed.

3.
Find out exactly which claim week ending Saturday exhausts your claim.
Your claim balance is exhausted as of the Saturday before your CERTIFICATION date.

thanks for info.
Just guessing.... I would have like about $100 left cause I worked part time but I have read some that they would usually pay you out. (Feb20,2010)
guess its time to call................
