Ha! Two weeks ago I was talking about looking for a change. Well were are getting one quicker and in a way I don't want. My husband was laid off, doesn't qualify for unemployment and we will have to relocate soon. Probably the homeless shelter.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Make sure he starts looking ASAP and don't give up. Have him contact people he knows, etc....

These are times that try mens souls...

Please try hard not to give in to the despair - things can always turn on a dime. Suddenly you are down, but just as suddenly you could be up!

I was actually thinking the same thing. I keep thinking this must be a piece to a bigger puzzle. It feels like somethings going to change for the better, in more areas than one.
I hope.

Sorry to hear this, no advice but we are in the same boat pretty much. My husband was laid off three months ago and so far no unemployment. We haven't been denied but the case has been referred to a field investigator. We had a bit of retirement saved up and it is going fast. I've been a stay at home mom for twenty years and I homeschool my kids- I haven't worked in forever! My husband is looking but no bites.

These are indeed very trying times. People who have never been unemployed using up all of their savings, retirement, losing homes, etc. I will never look at life the same way again.
