I have read articles saying the house will vote on the unemployment extension wednesday or thursday? Anyone know which one it is? I'm waiting for a call back tomorrow on a job I had a second interview for so I am praying one of the two comes thru.

The bill is HR 4213 -- which extends the eligibility cut-off dates for existing federal unemployment benefits through year-end 2010. If the bill is passed by the House, it will be sent to the Senate. When the Senate passes it, the bill will be sent to the President to be signed into law.
As currently drafted, HR 4213 provides no additional unemployment benefits -- no more weeks added to the EUC Tiers and no Tier V.
That question should be directed at all the people who have not yet exhausted Tiers I, II, III, and IV -- and who will not have the opportunity to collect those Tiers without an extension of the eligibility cut-off dates.
I'm sorry it doesn't do any good for you and I wish they would add a tier 5. But it will do good for me that has only collected 26 weeks of unemployment and still can't find a job.

It will do him plenty good reading his own thread on the matter.
I can see them passing the extension to be fair to those that have not got their tiers, but at the same time they are saying the job market is so bad we need to insure the recently unemployed have a lifeline. Ok, fine.. I agree. But if their prospects are low to find work what about us that have been laid off all this time. Do we have a better chance of finding something?
That 800$ billion we gave to Bank of America/Chase/Goldman Sachs (that they used to pay bonuses to those that caused the problems to begin with) would have paid for a lot of weeks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, please. But if I'm reading this correctly, it already passed both House and Senate, and is currently waiting for the president to sign once a joint committee irons a few details out? I mean, the voting part IS over, correct?

Nope. Changes have been made and it now needs to be voted on again by both. I honestly cant believe how long this bill has dragged on. That website you linked to seems to say otherwise but I dont believe that is true.
