So DH got termed from his job, and it is now me as the sole earner of the family. We have two small children. All this while, he was claiming them as dependents, and I was at 0. However, now I need to change it so that I can claim him and the kids as my dependents. How do I calculate how many I should claim? Should it be 3 ( DH+2)? Can someone give me a rough percentage of how much take home pay increases when I change the number of dependents?

Thanks,

B
