I just received my monetary determination for my 2nd year of benefits and it shows -0-for wages earned in the !st Quarter 2010. In reality, that was my highest earning quarter with wages from 2 jobs totalling more than double what they have listed as my highest earning quarter in my base period. I've faxed in my request for reconsideration and have several questions:
1 - How long does this process usually take? I'm panic stricken over trying to live on what they're currently allowing me!!!
2 - Once they confirm my employment and wages for that quarter, will they immediately adjust my weekly benefits accordingly? (and is there any reason that they would deny using that quarter once the wages have been confirmed by my employers?)
3 - Will they pay me retroactively for the weeks they only paid me the lower benefit amount? (at least that will help me to catch up on the bills I can't pay right now!!)
Thanks so much for any assistance you can provide!!
