Universe Today has a view about the conference. We'll find out tomorrow, but it's likely to have nothing to do with with any discoveries of alien life. Rumors abound when NASA makes a press release like this.

Well, if it's the arsenic-using lifeform, then it would be alien to us. It would just happen to be an alien form of life that evolved on earth, rather than somewhere off the planet. 'Alien' doesn't necessarily mean extraterrestrial.

That's possible, but I also think that there won't be any announcements concerning secret meetings with reptilians from the 53rd dimension. Care for a little arsenic with your cereal?
Or maybe they'll announce they found one of these on the Moon.
NASA (aka, Never AStraight Answer) is NOT going to announce the discovery of life (small or advanced) outside of Earth. Have they discovered such life? YES!!! Will they announce it? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Calm down, take a deep breath. Tell us where all this animosity is coming from. Did NASA run over your dog or something?
Not sure if it's mentioned yet, but it's about bacteria found in Mono Lake that utilize a different DNA makeup than all previously discovered life on the planet. *yawn*

When ET lands officially, you can kiss money good bye. Name me one government agency that's actually in favor of announcing something that would devalue money.
Or maybe they'll announce they found one of these on the Moon.
They'd better, or someone will come up with a fuzzy photograph "proving" yet one more NASA conspiracy!
