You gotta love the way that some people can weave their personal politics into any discussion. What a strange way to look at the world: everything is either left or right, black or white, with no shades of gray to be found.
That is one thing conspiracy nuts conveniently ignore, the scale of some of the ridiculous **** they believe in and how many tens of thousands of people would have to be involved who would keep their mouth shut.

Common sense filters have escaped those who believe the government wouldn't do secret things that could harm millions of people in the name of "homeland security" or "the interest of the country". Do you think for one second they tell their lackeys what's REALLY going on? Of course not! And let's not forget that government people are sworn to secrecy, they take an OATH to keep certain things confidential, and if they break that oath they'll not only be out of a job, but might also be facing criminal charges.
And now, the federal government, using the Patriot Act and other homeland security laws has completely eliminated due process and trial by jury. Any American citizen can now be declared an “enemy combatant”, incarcerated in secret prisons and tortured with no due process at all, no trial by jury at all. Again the incorrect assumption is being made by tinhatters that those who discount chemtrails must also believe the government wouldn't do something secret or harm people in the name of homeland security.
It is quite possible to be distrustful of the government and their motives without being retarded enough to believe the chemtrails thing.
