This simply isn't true.

Many atheists/agnostics were once believers of some description. Why do you think they changed their mind?

I know for myself, I was presented with ample evidence and arguments in a chat room. I took those little snippets and started investigating. I was challenged with evidence and with that I found christianity sorely lacking.

Those little pieces of evidence handed to me were the start of the domino effect and all my christian doctrine came crashing down around me.

You never know who will accept evidence but we continue to do so in the hope it may help someone break those shackles of religion and allow reason and logic to set them free.

Allright. Fair enough. I should have said "some people". You're right. Some people are open to changing their minds. But still, there are some who aren't.

Can we agree on that?

NDE's are not proof of anything spiritual. It's just the brain reacting to abnormal conditions. The brain is confused, and it manifests as what people interprets as NDE's. Here's a fascinating story on how pilots in centrifuges and subjected to very high g forces experience NDE's.

saw on TV where a study was done by a Swiss Doctor and she said only 18% of all patients who had sudden traumatic health problems such as heart attacks, reported bright lights and "visions". Most visions were of good things, only a few saw hell and damnation....It's probably the brain malfunctioning, electrical currents going wild, ...

The brain is an organ that functions normally only with an adequate and constant supply of oxygen, and malfunctions or misfires without that supply.
