Anyone watch the movie "The 4th Kind", reinactment and whats said to be actual footage.

Fact or Fiction...your thoughts.

It's a mockumentary. In Alaska, it isn't hard to believe people would disappear, it's a huge and largely undeveloped state. That doesn't mean that ET sucked them up.

Completely made up to stir interest for the movie. But the movie was so obvioulsy fake that it stood absolutely no chance of actually being bought as truth in the first place.

Yes I did watch it and, sad to say, I totally bought it at the time! I thought it was very frightening and well done.

Then I researched it, and found that it was a mockumentary. It is very believable though. I was a little pissed off that it was not true.

The film was well done and chilling. The scenes were intense and brought a feeling of facing the unknown. Esp the guy saying "That's not an owl...." His reaction seemed real.

The disappearances were later attributed to the wilderness and A high incidence of alcoholism in the area. People wandered off and succumbed to the elements Or ran off, Moved away etc.

My father bought into it, I almost did....lol. I did my research and found it was just like the blair witch project.... but boy was it interesting....
