I was in another website and someone thought that remote viewing was the same thing as astral travel.
Similar, but not the same.
I don't fully get why remote viewing is something 'paranormal' when the military has been using it for decades. Wish I could recall the guys name, but he was part of the 'developement' of RV for the military and then has since moved on to teaching this to police departments.

The aborigines in Australia are said to remove view and it is part of their culture. They would use it to locate dinner on a hunt and to determine where all the different tribes would meet for their big gatherings.
The tribe would take off in some direction and eventually meet up with all the other tribes without ever sending a runner to tell everyone where the gathering would be held.

I think I'll be impressed when someone remote views and finds Jimmy Hoffa, or DB Cooper, or any of thousands of of missing persons.

There are dozens and dozens of German U-Boats from WW II still missing, and also the USS Kete.

Hundreds of ships, including the USS Cyclops and her sister ship the USS Nereus, both collier-ships that were lost en route through the Bermuda Triangle.

In spite of Major Matt Moron's rantings, I'm not at all impressed.

Still waiting...

Mircea

Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff are the two researchers who laid the groundwork for what eventually became "Project Stargate".

It was supposedly scrapped in the mid 90's due to inconclusive evidence that RV worked.

Somehow, I wonder.........

I think part of the problem with the original study was the pressure they put their "lab rats" under. Many sensitives will agree that you can't force the gift. It works when it damn well feels like working.

Do I think we're capable of RV? By all means, yes. Science has barely begun to learn what the human brain is capable of.
