When in NOLA last year I was going to go on a voodoo tour but at the least minute decided not to, since I was pressed for time. Anyone go on anything like that, btw?

Anyway, I think the whole voodoo, black magic, occult, graveyards haunted element of the city makes it especially fascinating. Do you believe it has some sort of energy? Anyone visited NOLA and experienced anything weird?

N'awlins is weird enough as it is (in a good way) but I can't say I experienced anything supernatural, largely, of course, because I didn't put myself in any such situation. Some of the voodoo shops are interesting to browse through, voodoo dolls and whatnot.

I think Nicholas Cage bought a house in NO. The was talking about it on Letterman. I belonged to a doctor before the civil war. His wife had a reputation of being sadiatic to their slaves. In one case, the doctor surgically connected a slaves hand to her hip after attempting to hit the wife. He said he has never slept there.

I used to live near N.O. and visited quite often. It definitely has the history which would invite rumors of voodoo, black magic and the like. I never personally felt any spirit activity when there.

I went to NOLA about 2 years ago, and that whole town gives off a weird vibe! Bourbon Street and the French Quarter in general gives off the weirdest feeling.

Back when I was a little kid when "Haunted History" was still on the History Channel, the New Orleans episode was always my favorite.

Hmmm, I was born there and I was baptized by an undertaker. How much more weird could things get?

Well, there is the whole "seeing ghosts" and "contact with dead people" thing.

Hell Honey, I can do that right here at home for free.

I would like to go back one day just to find out more about where I was born. Maybe see if the house I was born in is still standing.

Any spooky stuff would just be gravy.

Hurricane Katrina did a job on the city but last time I was there-2 years ago it was looking better. Some parts of the city still look devastated though. (Sorry OT, I know!! )
