Till this day I still wonder if this was the answering of a higher power or just one hell of a coincidence.
2yrs ago in the months leading up to my bday while everyone was asking what I wanted or was going to do, I kept repeating that I would like for it to be extremely stormy so that I can have a nice relaxing day at home and wished that even a tornado hit NYC. The closer it got to my bday the more I kept wishing (in a joking fashion) that a tornado were to hit NYC on my bday. For the record, I'm a bit of an extremists and am fascinated with storms and extreme weather. So here comes the morning of my bday. The gf stood home from work and had a nice dinner planned out for me once I arrived home from work. Forecast that morning called for rain/thunderstorms and it seemed as if I had gotten my wish as far as it being a stormy day. About a half hour prior to me leaving work there was a newsflash about possible tornado's in and around the 5 boroughs. I thought to myself...."what the hell?" I was excited yet baffled at the same time. Like what are the odds? . So I head out towards the subway on my way home. When I get off at my subway stop in Brooklyn, NY the rain and wind was whipping as I've never seen before! I decided to take shelter under the bus stop while waiting for my gf to get there and pick me up. Next thing you know a funnel of whipping wind and rain came from around the corner sending everyone running back down into the subway running for cover including myself! Once everyone was downstairs there were nothing but blank stares as in "wtf was that???" Everyone was drenched from head to toe. I called my gf and she was stuck about 5 blocks away in traffic due to fallen trees and debris in the road. Turns out an actual tornado struck NYC and my area was especially hit the hardest!
I needed some rocks for my "found" side garden (pretty much everything in the garden I already had, or was given to me or I found). So keeping with the found theme I thought I would play around with setting an intention for free rocks. Low and behold 2 weeks later while I was walking the dog there were a few bags of rocks sitting on the side of the road. I was a little excited to find my rocks!!! (Side note - in my neighborhood ppl put stuff that they dont want on the curb - so these aren't hot rocks!)
