I've been having strange dreams for several months. they all seem to follow a pattern, although not the same dream. I'm inside somewhere, like a big mall, or airport, hotel, etc, and am trying to get out. things just don't go my way. It usually ends with everything collapsing, like in an Escher painting. I never get out of the situation. I recently found out I have enlarged sinuses. I wonder if they could be putting a physical pressure on some sort of "dream center?"

Usually in these dreams my deceased family is present, although in a minor role. I wonder if they're somehow reaching out to me, or if I just need my sinuses drained?

Do you have unresolved issues with some of these deceased family members appearing in your dreams?

Ok. I would try to work through those issues both in waking and in sleeping. Forgiveness is the word that comes to mind. Of yourself and your relatives.

My parents and grandfather keep popping up in my dreams. The only relative who never seems to appear is my grandmother, who died when I was 10. She is a part of my distant past. My parents and Grandfather are more of my remembered life.

It seems in all my dreams I'm trying to get out of somewhere, and my parents are part of the background. I guess I never totally resolved leaving home.....

My husband talks like and makes low scream sounds in his sleep sometimes. Most of the words are jibberish only a few at a time.
Quite often these dreams will wake him.Usually when he repeats the dream to me something is always after him. Most of the time it is some kind of wild animal, others some person.
Ive told him that it is the meaness coming out in him lol..
I just wonder why some people talk or cry out audiabley in their sleep? Its a little unnerveing to be awaken this way.For only a second I think what is that? then I realize he is dreaming again...I always wake him up as to break the dream and then hes asleep again within seconds.

In my case, it seems the dream is one I'm having outside REM sleep. When I start talking in my dreams, I'm almost sort of awake, but not really there yet. This allows my husband to start talking to me and we've held conversations.

They don't make any sense, mind you -- my dreams can be wacky -- but we hold conversations.

I have really weird dreams sometimes. Well, most of the time.
Mostly my dreams are like action or thriller movies all the way through. Every night I gotta run from someone or am locked somewhere and gotta run or just ran somewhere and gotta find my home now.
But sometimes strange things appear, like names I don't normally know (old names that could be used in 19th century), names of places and other things. I wake up and go google but can never find anything about it. Just once I had a strange name pop up in my dream, it was Raymond and something else. I spent a few hours doing reseacrh and suddenly found an old Times newspaper, in which I saw his name but totally forgot in what section.
Sometimes I realize in my dreams I am sleeping, then I use my brain and just go around watching things like a tourist.
I want to try to kill myself in a dream, once again I realize I'm sleeping. Just to see what are things out there like.
