This may have been discussed before but this is my first time posting here. About 4 weeks ago, I met someone and we both had this feeling that we were traveling a similar life path by the what we were doing now, relocating to this city, where she had lived before, etc. I have had it before where you are sure you have met the person before and you both feel that way yet there was no possible way that could have happened after reviewing both of our life histories. It is both spooky and very, very cool when it happens. I know that others must get these feelings and just wonder if anyone had a theory on what is really transpiring. Thanks!
I feel that many of the important (good and bad) people in our lives have been in our lives before. I have met people that I just clicked with in the way you described.
I met a clerk in a store once when I visited one of my hometowns. I instantly felt like I knew her, and she the same. We chatted. It turns out she was living in my old house. Life is interesting at times.
Richard Bach's book "Illusions" is excellent and describes our life as like a movie. It also is based on two people being attracted to each other due to learning at the same rate, and enjoying the same kind of things. It says that each lifetime is like working on another film and the same actors that were in the other films are now in this film - but playing different roles. In the last film/life Mary might have been your sister, and in this life she may be your mother.
This explanation makes a lot of sense to me as I believe anyway that we are all spirits who reincarnate into different lifetimes and time periods. It would explain many of the things some people report if our memories of other lifetimes were not as completely wiped out as those of other people are.
Some 'bleed-through' from another life perhaps triggers a memory of that time and hence we know the person from that period. Also I feel that like attracts like and if your energy is compatible then you enjoy their company.
