She statted talking to us and told my son her name. It was a very unusual name. She was a very adorable, chubby asian child, brown complexion. I assumed she was of Filipino descent as we live in a military community with many Filipinos. Her parents were not there. The kids talked and giggled as other children filed in behind them. Eventually, the teacher came and got them. I left glad my son met a new friend.
i'm not trying to be offensive or start a conversation about the ethnic make up of various Filipino people. i just wanted to tell my story and used the best descriptions i could. i apologize if i have offended anyone.
You have not been offensive, not sure why someone would be offended. If someone got bent out of shape, then they are just over sensitive and can't handle nature talk about genetics. I wonder how they ever passed biology.

You could've remembered wrong (there've been times when I've been sure I remembered something and it turned out different) or maybe you were referring to another incident.
She could've just changed her hairstyle, looked different with the lighting.
It's another girl with a similar name.
She magically morphed and changed appearance.
You're going crazy and seeing things.
Those are the most likely explanations I can come up with, you pick the one you think is mostly likely lol.
in a way it reminds me of that julianne moore movie, the forgotten. like it was something i wasn't supposed to notice. and no one else noticed.
ive got nothing to add, just to say this is the sort of experience that is outside the norm and its not just ghosts and whatnot. i appreciate your sharing this. its spooky and very interesting.
Did you meet her in the winter, and come back in the summer? Even African Americans will "Tan" in the summer months...just not as intentionally as lighter skinned people.
