A woman left a church in Bishopville, South Carolina, on Sunday, and was understandably startled at the sight of someone -- or some-THING -- running in front of some trees. The shock lasted long enough for her to get a grip on her senses -- as well as her phone -- to snap a picture of what looks like a fast-moving lizard man.
The Lizard man, Bigfoot, Count Dracula, A T-800 Model Terminator, Batman and Ozzy Osbourne regularly have poker games in the woods. Lizard man has a habit of consuming too much Shlitz malt liquor and wandering around. He lost a few grand this time so he was more upset then normal and took a long stroll.
There was a ''Destination Truth'' episode about this whole town's history of seeing the lizard man for years. I think ''Monsters in America'' did one too. Boy, I miss those shows!
This little South Carolina town has built a tourism culture around the experience.
Heck, everyone has seen Lizard Man at one time or another down there!

I think Elvis, Jimmy Hoffa, and Judge Crater also show up for a couple of hands every now and then.
