Period.

A real psychic with "the gift" doesn't charge.
Sure they do. Nothing wrong with making a living using that gift.

OK. I think you've stepped into the wrong forum.

Your choice not to believe in psychic abilities....I beg to differ. To prove that fact, post your photo in the thread titled "Picture Readings".

Not true in my experience. I have paid psychics who were great.

I don't know where this idea comes from that only psychics don't deserve money for their services.

Considering we are asking for their time, I think they deserve compensation. If no one got paid, there would be very few psychics reading because they'd be too busy holding down other full-time jobs.

When the facts change, I change my mind.

I have a suggestion. The next time you go to a psychic, just walk in and stand there. If anyone asks, "how can I help you," turn around and leave.

Many years ago someone did a reading on me. Told me I would be single all my life. I was single for quite some time. then in my 30's I got married and it didn't work. Single again. Today, married 20 years and lovin' every minute of it.

Not saying your person got it right or wrong, but you also have a say so in your life. Live it!

I do not charge anyone for any reading they are given but I consider my gift is a gift to be shared with others. This is my choice and right for me, what others do is their choice and right for them.

i've done card readings for myself in the past and they always turned out to be true. i think when it comes to dealing with clients (something i have never had, btw) its always best to be diplomatic, of course. much like astrologers who make a crappy planet position or influence sound like something that will only make you stronger, its probably best to make it sound as benign and blessing-in-disguise as possible.

I think it is fair to presume that we all have unpleasant events in our future as well as pleasant ones. The "whole truth" would have to include both, otherwise you are, quite frankly, asking the psychic to lie to you. In which case, it would just be a feel-good parlor game.

Why bother to go to a psychic then, just wear rose-coloured glasses all the time and keep your fingers crossed. It strikes me as being rather similar to blaming a doctor because she tells you that you have cancer....should she edit that of what she tells you!?
