BOLTON, England, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Workers at a British pub dating back to 1251 said they captured CCTV footage of a shadowy figure they suspect of being paranormal in nature.

Tony Dooley, manager of Ye Olde Man and Scythe in Bolton, England, said he was checking the cameras Friday morning at the country's fourth-oldest pub when he discovered they had stopped working at 6:18 a.m. and there was broken glass on the floor, the Manchester Evening News reported Monday.

Well why didn't they include the footage? Maybe it was just a break-in and the "shadowy figure" was the burglar who disabled the video camera???

I see a pale blob. Could be a ghost. Could also be a trick of the light, a hoax, or any number of things. Who knows?

But if I did have no haunt a site for decades, I sure would like it to be a good pub.

Maybe it's just me, but the amazing part of the story is that -- at 1251 -- that's the FOURTH oldest pub.....

Looks like a person to me. Why would they automatically assume ghost? Because it flickered? So did the rest of the bar.
