there is not a night that i do not have dreams. some of them are so vivid i could write a book about it, some are fleeting i could barely connect the dots. whats more interesting is that during the dream i know that i am dreaming. i'd tell myself, im dreaming again. i have come to enjoy my dreams because it's kind of cool. i have read somewhere that dreams are no far from reality and that your five senses are also active. i believe this because i could remember colors. i would also wake up feeling tired if i walked, run in my dream, or feeling pain if i got hurt in my dream etc.
i have two rules regarding my dreams:
1. if i could connect my dream to anything i did, i saw, i came across with etc. during the previous day, i do not think about it too much.
2. if not, then probably it has a hidden meaning like it's telling me something.

I have always been a dreamer. My dreams are so vivid and action packed and I thought everyone dreamt like this. But during my lifetime I have not met many people who dream like this.
My mom and my brother also dream as I do.
I am fascinated by it and I don't have a clue as to why some of us dream like this and others don't.
I think it is possibly my restless spirit trying to advance my teachings in this lifetime. Who knows!
BTW for what it is worth I am a Gemini in our zodiac and a Dragon in the Chinese zodiac.

Maybe the dream world is just another dimension that our consciousness travels to to gain wisdom and energy.
Maybe all of the things that grab our attention in dreams and suck our energy out of us are dream scouts and when we are out there in our dreams and not being distracted and sucked dry of our energy that we are the dream scouts pulling engery into our soul consciousness from other dreamers.
Carlos Castaneda wrote an interesting tid bit about dream scouts in his book The Art of Dreaming.
