In 1934, Shufelt stops tunneling.

In 1936, GEICO Insurance is formed.

GEICO's mascot is a lizard.

COINCIDENCE!?!?!?!

Living in a Big Foot hot zone, I can say that there are a variety of creatures, entities if you prefer, who are largely unknown. Are they dangerous? We don't know, but an inordinately large number of people do disappear in the Rockies every year.

The current Christian antisurvival thread is a clear message that we need to concern ourselves with observable phenomena.

Don't worry, if the Lizard people ever rise up, the human race can always ally itself with the Crab people. You know what they say:

The enemy of my enemy is a crab.

A large number disappear every year? That's rather vague. Are these people who have gone into the Rockies and never found? What kind of "large number" are you talking about? Thousands? Hundreds? Four or five? References please.

And...an inordinately large number of people go hiking without maps, utterly unable to perform the most rudimentary of orienteering skills even if they did happen to have one, and woefully unprepared for variable environmental challenges in wilderness areas.

Coincidence?

Nah, just Darwin Award candidates.

Even better - the poster can say, with authority, he knows of things which are unknown......

Background checks for guns should certainly have a requirement asking people if the purchaser believes in lizard people, zombies, goblins

Ever since Art Bell left, that show went downhill. Also they don't always do paranormal stuff shows. Sometimes they'll talk about mainstream subjects, like money, and things like that.

If anyone is interested, Art Bell has his own show now.

So then the known unknowns? Sounds familiar.

"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know." - Donald Rumsfeld, Feb 12, 2002
