There's no shortage of photos online purporting to be real-life aliens and they pretty much all look fake to me... except for one:

This photo was brought out into the public realm by the well know Mexican reporter Jaime Maussan a couple years ago.

There's something about this one that really bothers me somewhere deep inside my psyche. If it's a hoax, it's a clever one with a seriously devious twist as the "alien" clearly isn't the subject of the photo and isn't really visible without manipulating the colors to make it stand out. If it's a tree, it should be cut down because it's too damn creepy.

Most of what Jaime Maussan does is fake. He found a money maker and he's using it to make a small fortune.

Fake -- it's amazing the effects one can produce with Photoshop or it's ilk and the number of people who fall for these type photos...

Now this is a picture of real honest-to-god-aliens:

Yep. There's actually a documentary on youtube about it. Jaime Maussan comes across as basically a good guy who's just trying to make a living. But he gives airtime to folks who are obvious fakers and hucksters. The documentary shows how one of his "experts" fakes his photos.

Would it not be more accurate to say that "all" of what he does is fake?

I can picture some people seeing the photo and going "WHOA!" like Joaquin Phoenix in Signs when he saw the alien on the news. That said, it looks like drunken Gumby wandering away from the keg party. Also brings Billy Meier to mind who photographs chandeliers and plates in the air saying it's a spaceship.

LOL - my first thought was "Check-out those Gumby arms - there isn't even a joint at the elbow." My second thought was "Why would someone take that photo in the first place?"
