Someone gave me this essay by email ...... I don't have any firm beliefs about reincarnation, heck I don't even know for sure if I exist, but here's one guy's view, a long essay on the history of changing beliefs about reincarnation: Is Reincarnation a Trap? - Waking Times : Waking Times

Don't know what the author of that article was smoking, but it must have been some real potent stuff.

I couldn't get past the first section .
I guess one is entitled to their opinion.

After reading this:

1. Just because a teaching is old, doesn’t make it true.

And this:

2. Anecdotal evidence and subjective experience are not proof of a thing.

I gave up, this article is just psychobabble...

The authors self description is a dead tip-off of how the article will read:

Quote:
Era Denmark is an autodidact, philosopher and writer whose personal journey and public engagement embraces philosophy and esoterism; not as an end in itself but as an individualized path towards self mastery. Era is a citizen of the world, is trilingual (French, German, English) and resides in Europe.
