You're not crazy. You're sensitive.

He is obviously not doing "better" as he is still lingering around with a walker. On another note, what are you doing in China?

There are several reasons I wouldn't say anything. First off -- the rumor mill runs strong here. And often, it's based on a wrong supposition. In the past three months, I've heard about four rumors that proved untrue, but being spread as gospel. So -- Father might not be dead, just because the gossip mongers are saying it.

Second -- it's a very profitable contract. Being crazy is a good reason to lose a contract. And those first two are so close in weight they could both be first offs...

Third -- so what if the guy came back for one last visit to say goodbye... very likely he won't be back. It's very much none of my business.
I am glad you shared that story with the rest of us. It's not uncommon for some to say goodbye. Geesh- he died the week before, huh? He was definitely showing you he could walk at the time/ and you thought his health improved. That's probably what you really wanted to see at the time and dismissed it. ( This is usually how this works, in the first place)

The only bad thing about a series of these kinds of things, is eventually- one thinks they are questioning themselves too much and might miss-it again.( no matter how it is presented)

No harm here with this kind of greeting anyway.

I always forget about the thin veil, close to October 31st. Thanks for the reminder.

Have a good photo of apparitians last October; wasn't even thinking about it or anticipating it. Took a couple photos of kids in their costumes, lo and behold...one was a friends recently departed Jack Russel and one of the childrens departed grandfather who passed a few months prior. Wasn't a full apparitians, only the mid tigh up.

Maybe a ghost is just a human bio-electric residual image.

Like the fingerprint powder stains always coming back on the powder coated cast iron stair support where the guy from the 3rd floor hung himself. I stopped trying to clean them off. And the elevator he always used somehow stops on the third floor a lot. And the other guy who said the second balcony door on the 4th floor unit was opening every night, no matter what he did. He moved after three months -- no one else ever had the problem.

Well....

Have a resident who purchased a condo several years ago, and moved his parents in with him. Know him, know his dad, see them often. A couple of months ago, it was obvious his father had a stroke, he was walking with a walker, slowly, and dragging his one foot, and his face had fallen on one side. He nodded his head to me with a little smile - his usual greeting -- I don't think he speaks any English.

But still moving along.

Monday, I saw the son get out of the elevator and his father followed, doing really well on the walker -- looking happier, foot not dragging, face looked great. I said Hello, and the son answered me back, and we did the obligatory how are yous and he walked down the hall. Ahead of his dad, I assumed to make sure the walker wouldn't catch on anything. The father nodded and smiled.

Tuesday, I had two people tell me the father had died. The first one who told me I remarked I just saw him yesterday and he looked like he was getting better! She said -- oh you must be mistaken...

Yeah -- he died the Thursday before.

I'm a little freaked. Very little.... the father was very nice at all times. I would expect him to be the same in spirit. I'll be there tomorrow working.

Very interesting encounter. I knew where this was going when you mentioned the elevator. You tell a good ghost story!

I think the spirit of the father is still attached to the place and to his son. There seems to be a delay between actual death and leaving the earth. And I am not sure why.

I am equally unsure of why this man - who was a mere acquaintance- would appear to you.

My best guess is - he did not choose to reveal himself - he was there. And you are a sensitive so you saw him.
I have to admit, this would really freak me out. A full body apparition. They are rarely seen.

I happen to believe that October is a mystical month. Lore has it, that Samhain or Halloween, is the day when the veil between the living and the dead is at it's thinnest. I have read, and it has been my own experience, that the veil begins to grow thin when the sun enters Libra, and especially in October, all but dissolving when the sun enters Scorpio, in time for Halloween.

Don't be afraid - easy for me to say - you may see other things this month. I don't think this man had anything special to tell you - I just think he was there - in another dimension - that you were able to see into.

We had a client commit suicide on Saturday before Easter several years ago. He was the favorite client of everyone, and none of us saw this coming.
One of the employees drove by on Sunday, said the house was blocked off with police tape and two cop cars were there, and said she saw him standing in the yard with the dog on the leash smoking a cigarette, but decided it would not be a good time to stop and chat as she often did. On Monday we told her he died Saturday night, and she swears she saw him Sunday afternoon standing in his yard......
So yes your story is believable and things do happen that we cannot explain.
