There is a ghost of a woman who died under mysterious circumstances in the house that I rent. There was a fire, there was accelerant used. The authorities said it was a murder over drugs; the husband thinks it was suicide. Bottomline is she is in the house and sometimes lets me know it. I burn Sage on like a weekly basis. I have never seen her, but sometimes when I come in she will make sounds upstairs, stuff like that. Doesn't bother me, I sleep fine. Anything else people have used other than burning the Sage? I also tell her to go away.

This sounds like a very negative place to live. Did you know about the history of the house before you leased it?
With a past like that, sage will not be enough, I'm afraid. I would look for a new place to live. If that isn't feasible, I would contact a local paranormal investigation group. Most do not charge a fee.
Sage is typically used to remove residual negative energy. If indeed the murdered woman is still in the house, she considers you to be in her space. Spirits, like people, have free will. Which means . .if they don't want to leave, they're not going to. Sage or no sage.
That said, I really doubt she is still there. All because a person was murdered in a house does not mean that their spirit is trapped in that house. Most spirits move on. Your place does not sound haunted to me. A few unexplained noises upstairs does not constitute a haunting.
My upstairs, particularly the bedroom of my deceased son, can be quite noisy. But, it's not spirit activity, it's actually a noisy subfloor. Simple things like wind or temperature changes can make the floor pop. And sometimes it even sound like someone is walking across the floor. That certainly has freaked out some of our guests!
My opinion, if your house is peaceful and calm, you have nothing to worry about. You would be better served to look for logical explanations for the house noise instead of saging. The noise coming from upstairs could be something as simple as a bird nest in a vent, gutter or the eaves.

Do you ever see her in a mirror???? Sometimes a mirror can see stuff we cant see with your own eyes.....
Also try putting a tapearecorder on and see if it captures her talking to you..........
