My maternal grandmother was from the Philippines; born in Cebu, and came to the US (specifically, Los Angeles) in the early 60s. She came over with some of her friends from Cebu as well as a sister, but she had many sisters, and most of them were left behind in the Philippines.
Anyway, in summer 2010, my grandmother got a phone that one of her sisters had died. She called my mom. My mom took the phone and went upstairs to talk. They talked for a bit, and then my mom hung up the phone and went downstairs.
On the kitchen counter was a Filipino coin. Just a random Filipino coin.
Neither of us put it there, and my dad hadn't put it there; he was at work and when we called him up to tell him about the coin, he had no idea how it got there.
To this day, we have no idea how it got there. It wasn't there earlier that day, and we scoured the house for random Filipino coins. None.
When I was about 5 back in 1965 on night while sleeping about 11pm I awakened to see a small person at the end of my bed he was about the size of a 4-5 year old odd color skin blueish and looking like an alien/human hybred. I felt it was trying to communicate directly to my head so I ran downstairs to my mothers bedroom. While explaining what happened I saw his reflection in a mirror and when I turned to look back he was gone. Now to this day I don't know if it was real or I overdosed on childrens St Joseph aspirin.About a month ago I was watching a show about aliens and it showed an "Alien -human hybred, it looks like what I was 50 years ago!
Similarly, TWA Flight 800 in 1996 and the disappearance of Amelia Earhart in 1937.
This is controversial. There are two competing explanations, now. 1) Her plane had a forced landing on Nikumororo Island, in Kiribati, where some remnants of her belongings are said to be found, along with a plane part, and 2) She went down over Japanese-controlled islands, while conducting a secret mission to photograph Japanese installations and activity. There are eyewitness accounts that say she was held in a jail on Saipan, and later executed. There have also been eyewitness accounts of her plane being stored in a hangar on Saipan after the US took over the island, and later burned there. http://www.history.com/news/does-thi...ne-disappeared
And lets not forget the disappearance of the Indonesian flight 360, or whatever it was.

Re Amelia Earhart, I found that photo to be intriguing. This Sunday there is this special @ 9pm on the History Channel, for those that did not click the link. I am looking forward to watching this. I think as time goes on we may get even more evidence.

Yes, I wish I could watch it; I don't have a TV. Maybe it'll be put up on youtube at some point afterwards.
There's a guy who's done a lot of research in the Marshall Islands, and interviewed many of the people who saw Earhart's plane or saw her. He chose not to be involved in the documentary, but some video clips of his are available on youtube. He was talking about making a feature film for national release out of his videos. He says the History channel material is very similar to the evidence he's collected. Richard Martini. Here's one of his vids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nju6Tr7yhE
