I was once a channel for one of those mysterious messages.

Some years ago, I was seeing a psychic and energy worker to get energetic clearings. When I arrived, she was in with someone else, so I sat outside in the waiting area. When she got through, she ushered her client out, and introduced her to me. I have no idea what came over me, but I said, "Hi. Wow, you are so beautiful!" to her. She became extremely flustered, looked at the psychic, and hurried out the door. I was embarrassed and said, "I am so sorry, I don't know what came over me to say that to a total stranger." The psychic said, "She was flustered because not half an hour ago, she and I were talking about how she feels she isn't pretty enough, and I told her that she was beautiful, and that very soon, she would get a message from the Universe telling her that."

One man I had just met said to me I was "a flowery romantic girl from the 1800s who would never be proud to say she got drunk with her friends" ha it is a spot on description of my personality.

Wasn't there some point, like when you lost the first $1,000 of your winnings, that you could have walked away?

No matter how far ahead you are, stay at the table long enough and you'll give it all back.

I attract stoners for some reason. This was the last encounter:

I was shopping at Meijer on US 23 (north of Columbus, OH), and this lady who looked to be in her 30s approached me while I was standing in line and told me that I would have a safe trip and that my cat would be fine. She definitely looked like she was on something. I thanked her, not wanting to engage too much because she had awful BO. She disappeared a minute later, but I smelled her for awhile.

I didn't know who she was, nor did I have cat food in my basket, but I was moving from Ohio in two days, and I had been stressing a bit about my cat because I knew I would have to confine her to her crate for two days, which she hates.

But it was a safe trip, and my cat was fine.

Haven't had any encounters like that since I've moved.

Her pregnancy start was awful, she was sick all the time and lost a lot of weight in the beginning, even before she found out she was pregnant she was down to a size 0.

So after the appointment, she stopped by a local grocery store and an old gypsy lady came up to her and put her hand on my friends stomach. She said "Congratulations, you are going to have a son". Totally shocked her. There is no way someone could have seen any bump in her stomach. She had no stomach!

And 8 months later she had a boy!!!!
When I was pregnant with my first child my mother was terminally ill and living with me so I could care for her. I became pregnant in February and she passed away in May. Somewhere in those three months she told me I was going to have a blonde baby boy with blue eyes. In November I had a blonde baby boy with blue eyes.

Years later I went to this psychic thing with my friend. The psychic told me that my son shared the name of my father and that they had known each other before he came to be my son and that they were very close in heaven. She told me this was who my then 4 year old son had been talking with and playing with.

My father died when I was 14. My son is named after him. My son had been playing with what we thought was an imaginary friend. He would be talking to someone while outside in the back yard playing. Once we woke at 2 am to hear him playing in his room. This was when he was about 2-3 years old, when we asked him what he was doing he said playing with grandpa. when we asked where he was he said he left through the window.

This is the same son whom the woman in the store told me was a very old soul.

I love that story, OP! Does your son remember playing with grandpa, now? How old is he now?

I think he remembers us telling him stories about it more than he remembers anything. He is 23 now.

Actually, I had a wierd one today in which the issue was what was NOT said.

I stopped at the 7/11 to get a cup of coffee, and intentionally parked a little ways out because I don't like being crowded. To paint the picture, it was about 2100, and in an unusually big parking lot for a convenience store, since it is a fairly isolated truck-stop type area just outside of the airport on the edge of a business park.

Four boys came wandering into the parking lot, young teenagers, and three of them walked inside. One of them wandered over to my truck--again, no reason as I was off by myself--and stood there looking at me.

"What you want boy?" I inquired. He merely stood looking at me a second, shrugged, widened his eyes for a second, and then adjusted his shirt in a weird way. Sensing no good coming of this, I was just about to get out of the truck and slap him one when he wandered off into the store with his friends.

I pulled up up to the front give him some "I mean business" looks, but I had to get back to work, and it occurred to me that as odd as it was, no harm was done. I drove off and left it at that.

Then I found this thread. Curious, that I had a weird experience about what was NOT said. The more I think about it, the weirder it gets, as there are no residences out there and nothing for young kids to be visiting. As they had no car, I am not even sure how they would have gotten there except to make a very long and pointless walk.

She placed her hand over his head and chanted that he was a SPECIAL Child and would go far. Yet she jeered at my other son and walked away. To this day it gives me shivers to recall that ladys' antic. I sensed her to be evil...and not the kind of evil that one wants to meet in a dark alley. How cruel for her to dismiss my youngest....My oldest son even said, Mom why did that lady touch my head ...I didn't like that!

Seriously she reminded me of one of the witches from the Macbeth tale.

I also recall having a Tarot reading done at around the age of 11....THe lady looked in horror at one point and told me to leave...that I was filled with horror and dishonor.....At the ripe age of 50 something...I think I understand what she meant. It's been a life filled with poor decisions and dishonor for those around my being. Luckily I have the mind to do better and make amends....I'd like to think that lady was only partly right....
I had a friend who told me her Irish grandmother read the tea leaves of her three older sisters when they turned 18 and told them things about their future marriages, children, etc. When she turned 18, she asked her grandmother to do hers. She looked in the cup, and then said, "Never mind, it's all just nonsense anyway." Despite my friend's insistence, her grandmother refused to tell her what she saw.

This friend of mine was the worst alcoholic I have ever known--and I've known quite a few. Except for 7 years of sobriety when she had a good job, an apartment, a car, and took vacations, she drank vodka straight from the bottle before she got out of bed and didn't stop till she passed out wherever she was.

I was having some odd activity in a house where I lived with that friend as a roommate, and another friend brought a psychic by just to see if she could pick anythong up. When she met my friend and shook her hand, she suddenly backed away, and said, "No no no, there's too much sadness, I can't have anymore than I've got already" and she actually moved into another room to get away from her.

This friend discovered she had lymphoma, and she was treated successfully with chemo. Then she began to drink again. She tried several times to regain her sobriety, but she never did. She was dead of cirrhosis at 51.
