My ex's stepmom was a huge believer is psychics. I've never been a believer. The reason she believed, according to her, was because when she was in her late teens (the 1940's) she went with 3 friends to a psychic while on a vacation trip. The first three girls had their fortunes read and then the fourth girl was sitting with the psychic, the psychic suddenly said that they should leave and she would refund the fourth girl's money. She wouldn't say why, other than "I can't see anything, sorry". The girls were irritated and freaked out a little by that. A few weeks later, the fourth girl was killed in a car accident. So she has always believed that the psychic saw either the death, or "no future at all", for this girl.

That is creepy!

Had a weird experience one day about 6 months ago. Three separate people in two different casinos said weird utterances that we could not decipher. The first as we were going into one casino, a woman is walking out and looks right at me, and says something but could not understand it. She then walked away around a corner and disappeared. The second was a guy as we were leaving a restaurant in the same casino. He walked up, leans toward me and looks at me and says something I could not understand. Then he walks away, joins his friends like nothing ever happened.
The third was what we thought was a very drunk woman at another casino. She was walking towards us and saying weird things, so we thought she was drunk. She gets close and looks at both of us and yells something weird. Then walks past us. We both turned around and she was just gone like she vanished into the air.

So, I tell this to some friends and family on Facebook and their answer is, "Maybe you need a hearing aid." No. Everyone else we had contact with that day we could hear perfectly fine. Why would I need a hearing aid for just three weird people? It never happened again, but this thread reminded me of it. It was just really bizarre.

Meanwhile, a friend of mine in another state, everywhere she goes, she gets compliments. People are drawn to her and animals follow her around. She said a few days ago, she was out for one of her walks and stopped to rest. She gets ready to go again and there is a big crowd of people right behind her. Just standing there. She said she just stopped for a few minutes and there was no one anywhere. It freaked her out somewhat.

People who are Christian believe that these messages are sent by the will of God to a person who is open to doing his will, as in passing on the comment. So you could be right about the message coming from an angel You can also ask for more of these types of supportive messages via prayer.

I'm glad they were of comfort to you

I believe we are surrounded by friends and enemies we don't see.
Both We have known before the Earth existed.
Friends help Us and Enemies destroy Us.
Both loved each other at one time.
Then the Shadow fell.
We were sifted.
We forgot.

Reminds me of what the strange little man in the 7-11 parking lot said to me 30 years ago:

"I know you don't remember; but you are one of us

We have been waiting for you; but others have been waiting for you too.

Just like we searched for you; so have they been searching

Your light makes us brighter. Your light turned to dark gives them strength.

Now weve found our child from the fourth but they want you for their own. They only want your light so they can turn it dark. You can't fight them alone."

Oh; I've talked about him here before. I think it might have been my very first post on CD ever. I called him the Leprechaun because thats what he reminded me of the second I saw him with his little bicycle , standing in the rain with his curly red-brown hair & his oversized clothes.

He was wringing his hands & looked like he was about to cry. I thought at first he was asking for money since he was approaching every female in the parking lot & gas pumps. I watched him walk up & say something & watch them shake their heads "no" ... Then he would wring his hands some more & pace until he spied another female & off he'd go ...

Until he walked passed my car following a 7-11 clerk into the store & I heard him say "But somebody here is Christine! They told me she would be here today & I was not late!" And she answered "Look: I'm not Christine. There is nobody named Christine who works here. Understand?" (yes; huge secret; my name is christine)

I believe I mentioned the "child from the fourth" comment in that post but I don't think I delved into the rest. It makes me cringe to think what an strange first impression I must have made here on CD but things like this you don't just forget. It's haunted me for almost 30 years.

Not sure if I mentioned the white buisness card he gave me with the little crystal ball on the front & the words "The Wizard" scribbled on the back with a phone number. That I never called.

Yes; I'm a weird magnet too & sort of used to it by now but nothing I've had happen compares to the little man waiting in the rain for Christine!

I remember the thread where you posted this story! People were urging you to call the number. Did he give the card only to you?

You lost $18,000+???????? I would have died if I lost all of that.....

THIS I have had happen to me as well. Three times.

Oddest thing...The first time, a voice in my head, but not MY voice warned me to not marry my first husband. I would say CLAMORED, BEGGED, CAJOLED for me to not marry my first husband. I chose to ignore it. Oh well.

The second time, the same voice told me my husband was cheating on me.

The third time, the same voice calmly told me I should trust, and take a chance on my then boyfriend, who became my second husband. THAT'S a decision I don't regret at all.

Her pregnancy start was awful, she was sick all the time and lost a lot of weight in the beginning, even before she found out she was pregnant she was down to a size 0.

So after the appointment, she stopped by a local grocery store and an old gypsy lady came up to her and put her hand on my friends stomach. She said "Congratulations, you are going to have a son". Totally shocked her. There is no way someone could have seen any bump in her stomach. She had no stomach!

And 8 months later she had a boy!!!!
I worked with a skinny admin who looked 10 months pregnant to me (ie really big) when I looked at her from my peripheral vision just for a moment. The feeling was so strong that I turned to look at her full on only to see her normal skinny figure but I had to ask if she was pregnant which I'm smart enough never to ask women in case you make them feel fat, but she answered that she was and how did I know.
