We have all heard of the cover-up stories about UFOs. The biggest question everyone wants to ask. If they are real, why is the goverenment covering it up? There are probabally a couple of BIG reasons to keep it secret at all cost. The first is "Energy". What if the world was introduced to a form of "free" energy? Think of what it would do to the oil companies. It would upset the world economy. Secondly, knowledge of the phenomina could upset religous institutions. It has been said by some top government people with high credentials that the goverenment is covering up UFOs and the extraterestrial presense because it would be hard for people to find out that their religion was all a "myth". These "officials" have said that the ETs have modified our DNA over time and that they had a hand in creating the world's religions. In ensence we are "hybrids" according to these officials and the early ape man was the origional human being. All this sounds VERY far out but these stories are coming from certian government personel that have had positions in NATO and other branch of US and world government. That kinda mirrors what it says in the Book of Genesis in the Bible when it refers to the "fallen ones" which were not human. The scriptures says they took earth women as wives and produced offspring.
Many people believe that the Roswell crash did happen in 1947. At the time a report was released saying the army captured a "flying saucer" the story almost imediately changed to a wheather balloon. It was forgotten for decades until 1978 when Major Jesse Marcel Jr said he handled the debre from the UFO wreckage and said the balloon story was a lie and that it was indeed wreckage from a crashed extraterstrial vehicle. Marcel said pieces of the wreckage had "mysterious properties" Then there were stories about the alien bodies. In the 1990s the goverenment came out with a book called "Roswell Case Closed" The governement said it was a balloon but they added it was the top secret project Mogul. They went on to explain that the bodies people were seeing were dummies that were dropped from the balloons. However there was a problem with the government's story. They didnt begin dropping dummies til the mid 1950s and the Roswell incedent happened in 1947. When this was brought to the government's attention they said "well people are just confusing different events at different times" What a crock Shi _. Project Mogul was indeed a classified program, However, It wasnt the same event that happened in July of 1947. Project Mogul was declassified years before the government came out with the book. Since it had already been declassified, why was it years laters when the government "confessed" that the Roswell crash was actually Project Mogul? It makes no sense at all. Its fair to say that the US governement is still covering up Roswell. They've already lied to us twice about the incedent.
here is footage that surfaced up. Its suppose to be footage of one of the bodies in hanger 84 in Roswell. The footage looks legit and it does appear to be footage from 1947. Notice the body in the footage has 6 fingers, a large head and it appears to have no sex organs. The body looks almost human but you can tell that its not quite human. The source of the video comes from an old military photographer.
I don't think the question is "Why would the government cover up extraterrestrials?" but rather, Why would extraterrestrials cover themselves up?
And why would they? They have the technology to go eighty bajillion light years in a week and a half including refueling stops to some distant planet, wearing clothes that weigh half an ounce but are indestructible and managing to carry on generation after generation without sex organs or pupils, yet they can't pinpoint "Oh, hey, here's a great big epicenter...the earthlings seem to call it Manhattan...let's land there and talk to the Earth" v. "Oh, hey, here's the house of an unemployed postal worker in rural Alabama who lost both thumbs in a freak sorter accident, let's go and present our story to that dude"?
Another thing that makes it all ring a little false to me is that alien abduction stories have been reported on since, what, the 1940s? Better than 60 years of abductions and these inappropriately curious aliens are STILL probing people's butts? Message of Plea to All Extraterrestrials: Following 60 years of anal probing, you've learned everything there is to know about the human ass. There are no more mysteries. Trust us. You can close the book on that one now.
There are coverup theories about everything nowadays, and the "reporter" always talks about "the government" doing the covering up, as if "the government" is five guys in sunglasses and suits or something. Do you know how many people would have to be involved in this alien thing alone? It would have sneaked out somewhere along the line, and not in faked videos created by somebody's crazy neighbor who hasn't visited a dentist since the Kissinger years because he's afraid they'll implant a tracking device in his bicuspid.
There are conspiracy coverup stories about various diseases because "big pharma wants us to keep spending money on drugs". Cancer, diabetes, overweight (I heard a theory that the USFDA sneaks something addictive into McDonald's french fries!), lupus, you name it, the government is keeping us from discovering that chewing raw jalapeno three times a day and barking at the moon would cure it all. I have an autistic son and I go on autistic sites. You should see the theories about the government covering up "the cure" for autism because "too much money goes into therapies to pull that money plug now". Same with gasoline...same with aliens. ("The government doesn't want us to know that the aliens could cure lupus and create free energy.")
My theory? People want to believe in the mysterious because it's cool, and because it takes our minds for a few minutes off the fact that our lives aren't all that exciting. Aliens? They *can* exist. Of course. Come to backwoods Mississippi four hundred times to impregnate a 60-year-old part-time waitress and probe her husband, then sneak quietly away so the "government" earthlings can cover it all up? I doubt it...just doubt it.

I Like your post JerZ..That's funny...all that anal probing has to get boring though. I was thinking, as I stood in my backyard wrapped in aluminum foil, waiting for my mothership to pick me up...You've got great points there. I have no idea what's with those "coverups" and if they could come from distant planets, why would they not zap us in broad daylight everyday or beam a famous person up and do as they wish or steal a building or something big..Someone who's anally disfunctional started all those probe stories and they caught on, also a lot of sex seems mentioned in abductees' stories...seems fishy to me..
If these aliens were there the government would not be able to cover them up without the aliens allowing it..so it's a conspiracy between the aliens and the government...
I do think there may be lifeforms on other planets but not like what we have pictured so far...

well if you look carefully, the autopsy film alien is not quite the same. Also notice the difference in the film quality. The autopsy film was indeed a hoax but the other film is real. The generals in the hanger film look very serious and it looks like a real emergency, not acting. That video also comes from an old military photographer. It obviously looks like the hoaxster of the autopsy film tried to duplicate the alien in the real film. The fact that the alien looks a little different in the two films proves this. Notice the eyes. They look differenet on the autopsy film. If both films were a hoax, why not use the same prop in both films? The clear difference in the film quality makes it obvious. The hanger film looks like an aged film from the forties but the autopsy film looks like it was made a few years ago but just filmed in black in white and a little grainy in a poor attempt to make the film look old.
If Aliens themselves are keeping their presense secret, maybe they have their own reasons for doing so. I think its naive to think we are the only ones and that we have not been visited. ALL ancient civilizations talk of vistors from the skies and even the Bible itself makes reference to that "the fallen ones" or "fallen angels" who were cast out of heaven with Lucifer (Satan) The ancient Sumerians gods are called the "Anunnaki" which means "those who were cast down". The Bible says these fallen ones, which were not human had offspring with earth women. If you believe in the Bible the you must accept that as reality because it is in the book of Genesis. I think Christians would not view them as being aliens but the fallen angels or demons. The scientific community would view them as extraterestrials. The ancient world viewed them as gods.

There's just no reliable evidence that aliens have visited the earth. All we have are alot of stories that seem to get more embellished as time goes on. Also the idea that an alien would be so much like ourselves that we could mate with them is very far fetched. We can't mate with any other species on this planet but we could mate with a creature from a different planet? I don't think so. It's interesting to note that of all of the countless millions of species that have ever lived on the earth there is only one species that has advanced enough to develop technology that allows us to venture into space. I think that life probably exists in other parts of the universe and possibly intelligent life with advanced technology but I don't think any aliens have visited the earth.
Not only that but even if there were intelligent life within an obtainable reach of us nothing says that they have the same technological capacity as we do either. Don't forget it's only been one century of the 4.5 billion years this planet has been around that we've been able to produce anything worth emitting into space.
On top of that, I want to know how these aliens have made their spaceships that apparently travel at near light speed and are able to avoid even the tiniest of space debris. Let's not forget... things travelling at that rate upon impact with even a rock the size of a dime would be utterly destroyed.

BTW here is the smoking gun to the Roswell Case. Here is General Ramey in front of the weather balloon wreckage....notice the memo he is holding......
Through todays modern technology we can actually blow up that memo and make out what it is saying.
The message turns out to be a telegram from Gen. Ramey to the Pentagon and Gen. Hoyt Vandenberg, the acting AAF Chief of Staff at the time. Ramey is providing Vandenberg an update on the very fluid situation in-the-field at Roswell.
The first paragraph describes what had been found. Ramey starts by acknowledging "THAT A 'DISK' IS NEXT NEW FIND." He then adds that "THE VICTIMS OF THE WRECK" and something else (possibly just "A WRECK") had also been found near the recovery "OPERATION AT THE 'RANCH'." At the end it states that "YOU" (i.e. Gen. Vandenberg) had ordered the "victims" and/or the wreckage "FORWARDED" to " FORT WORTH, TEX."
In the second paragraph, Ramey describes how the situation was being handled. Ramey first states that something "IN THE 'DISC'", probably the bodies of the "forwarded" "victims" (and possibly termed "AVIATORS") would be flown by a B-29 Special Transport or C-47 to the "A1" (personnel director) of some "8TH ARMY****" division, most likely the head flight surgeon at Fort Worth given the context. Wright Field, Ohio, home of the AAF's aeronautical labs, was to assess the Roswell crash object (possibly referred to as an "AIRFOIL").
Finally Ramey outlines how the situation was being treated publicly and how they were going to cover it up. First he assures Vandenberg that the earlier highly inflammatory Roswell base press release (referred to as the "MISSTATE MEANING OF STORY") was the work of an Army counter-intelligence team ("CIC/TEAM"), but that the "NEXT SENT OUT PR" (Press Release) would be "OF WEATHER BALLOONS."
Ramey finishes with the statement that the weather balloon story might be better accepted if they also added weather balloon radar target demonstrations. This apparently was the impetus for the national debunking campaign using the devices that followed over the next few days.
This memo is the proof...further more the US government said in the 90s that it was just a top secret weather balloon operation....there was nothing secret about the balloon itself, because according to them, they used ordinary weather balloon....If thats the case, why was the "material" treated like it was a national security threat? Why did it take several planes to ship a weather balloon to Ft Worth Texas? because that IS documented. Why would they even ship an ordinary weather balloon to Ft Worth and then to Ohio in the first place? Why treat ordinary material like that? Its questions like these that skeptics continue to ignore. They refuse to look at the obvious holes in the government's story and the government's silly explainations.
