Antarctica and the bottom of the ocean are two perfect places for any aliens to be because their technology (I assume) is so advanced that they can make a comfortable life there. As I have already said, it is very human unfriendly due to the extreme cold and so they are unlikely to get visitors. The scientists probably stay relatively near to the coast to do their science and the continent is massive which provides enough space to hide entrances etc.
Although we have perhaps found some of the entrances as shown in the images I posted earlier, the same 'warning' was possibly given to humans to leave them alone as was given to us about the Moon. Of course, thats only a guess.
Assume, probably, perhaps, guess.
It's seldom a good idea to base an opinion on any of that. A hypothesis? Sure. But gather some evidence before you pronounce a hypothesis as fact. Any number of things are possible. It's possible Elvis is still alive. Is it probable? Is there any reliable evidence for it? That's something else.
But gather some evidence before you pronounce a hypothesis as fact.
Dont be ridiculous, what evidence can be gathered?
Hypotheses are not facts, are they? As I understand it, they are "I wonder if this is what's happening here" guesses made by scientists so they can go investigate why something is happening.
Sometimes they are correct, sometimes they are not.

I've never read anything about the Chinese government's statements or attitudes, either the ROC or the PROC. What goes on there? What do they say?
Not much as far as I can see. They released some lunar images a while ago from the Chang'e missions but I suspect they are the same kind of quality as the NASA ones. For all their technology there does not appear to be much of an improvement in image quality. Oh well.

So you have made your guesses so now time for you to go investigate.
That does not give you the right to say people are hiding things or call people liars.

I don't mean the moon; I mean Antarctica, the thread topic. Do they pretend to ignore it? Do they put out pictures that you judge to be false? What do you hear or read on the news? ...on the internet? Please link to some websites with pictures. I can't read Chinese, but I can judge pictures and compare them to the pictures from other countries.
Do you believe that the Chinese government is more honest or less honest than the American government?
People tend to write goofy chit to get attention. The more outrageous the claims are, the more their life is lacking. Like some one said, when Al Gore name is mention, he's selling something.
Antarctica is mostly unknown to us all and we do not get much news coming out of it. Currently, I know the US base is having to move because of the large crack in the ice shelf and that, in itself, will be interesting because they have probably got rooms under the ice for storage etc. It is supposed to be a military-free zone but I reckon the US military will help with the logistics of moving the base to another location. Not only because they are good at it, but because if there is anything 'interesting' under the ice there, then they will know how to keep their mouths shut.
The Russians at their base have drilled down into lake Vostock and who knows what they really found there. 3500 new species is quite newsworthy
Not sure whether you can still get RT there now? Lake Vostok 1
I suspect they have contaminated it for everyone else but that is probably par for the course. We contaminated the Moon didn't we and also other places like Everest too. There must be loads of science which can be done on that lake Vostok but not much gets out to us about it does it?
At the risk of starting more thoughts of conspiracies, I found this today.

A Spanish naval captain has died after apparently falling overboard from an ocean research ship in Antarctica.
Javier Montojo Salazar was travelling on board the ship as a member of a scientific team.
It is not clear why he fell, the Spanish navy says. It happened near a Spanish research base on an island off the Antarctic Peninsula.
His body was discovered after a six-hour search. It is now being taken to the Argentine port of Ushuaia.
