‘Poltergeist’ phenomena are the very epitome of ‘things that go bump in the night’, and most modern scientists would probably relegate them to the realm of fairy tales without thinking twice. And yet, for historians studying the historical continuity of scientific interest in the supposed ‘supernatural’, they offer surprising insights.
I cannot wait until scientists take them seriously and harvest their unlimited energy so I can have cheap power. Properly harnessed poltergeist power could power machines on Mars making Martian colonies possible. It would also make the scientist that could harness this clean, never ending, power supply wealthier than anyone has ever been in history. I am sure scientists over look this because they do not like money and fame.

They would never ever allow such energy to become accessible or even known about by the public. This was exactly the reason they classified some of Teslas work (power was not able to be metered out to the public), in other words, it would be free or very cheap to 'tap' into it and use it, to power everything from your car to your house.
Think about what such an energy source would do to the global energy industry and the global economy!

Who is this "They" and how do you know this? It is easy to say something like this but you should be able to back up what you say.

"They" are already "allowing" solar energy development, which a similarly free source of energy. There's really not much "they" can do about it, except try to figure out a way to control it, or limit its practicality; for example, by not allowing solar energy producers to sell the energy to the electrical grid, or by taxing and/or regulating it in some way.
