There is enought information for us to come to a reasonable conclusion, that yes, the CIA, and the FBI have used psychics for their purposes. And as I have stated, psychics can only pass on the information that they have been given, which sometimes is not enought to solve a crime.

This is from the World Net Daily. By Anthony C. LoBaido
He states in this article, that the U.S. government has a long history of promoting and funding paranormal operations.
According to the London Sunday Times Nov.11 it states that remote viewers have been recruited by the U.S. government, the FBI, and CIA. And has advised their investigators to think outside of the box.

Here is an interesting link on the CIA's psychic program, and what their remote viewers were able to accomplish.
Inside the CIA's psychic program

Psychics are not always 100% correct, yet often they do fill the bill for the U.S. Government. And that is why they have used them. Tal Brooke, president of the Spiritual Counterfeits Project, a Berkeley research organization and think tank, understands the government's attraction to using psychic spies: "It's a no-brainer for the CIA to use them. These psychic spies presumably can go where no spy has gone before and leave no footprints. The CIA are opportunists, so they say, "If it works, do it."
Brooke added, however, that remote viewing is definitely occult.
I watched something on remote viewing also.

Many think that psychics just use the power of the mind, but in reality, they are useing evil to impress non believers of the other side. They do this to open their minds to other options, yet these options rarley involve God. Psychics can only solve a crime if they are given enought information, and that amount of information is limited to what the spirit or demon is willing to share with them. The Bible strictly forbids this type of activity, yet a number of the people who are involved in this don't seem to care about the Bibles warnings, so they just ignore them.
I find it odd that during a discussion about whether "psychics" are real suddenly the "Bible and Demons" are brought up as viable explanations as to where the psychics get their information? Wow!
Okay? Well? I'm speachless...what can I say after that!

If you believe in non-existent deities, and that this deity 'talks' to you, then why not have other beliefs about ones abilities to imagine stuff. Laying in bed in a darkened bedroom is a wonderful place to let the mind wander and come up with all sorts of fantasies., an escape from the reality of the day if you will.

Hi, I enjoy watching these shows, and I believe that they are real. The names of the police officers, victim's families, and the psychics are legitimate. I have looked some of them up both on the psychic's websites and some of the police sites also verify that. The interview the whole friggin family on record, how can you argue with that? You can not make a documentary type show or write a book that claims to be factual and make it all up. I also have had personal experiences with very gifted seers. And so have others in my life. Here is an example, this is true: my boyfriend's cousin went missing and his mother heard about someone, a psychic/medium. She helped her over the phone (I don't think she charged them any money but I'm not 100% sure). Without any information or asking one question the psychic described to the mother exactly what the boy was wearing, that he had had a fight with his best friend and ran out into the snow, even the brand of vodka they had been drinking, the inside of the house and who was there when he left. She told the family that she was very sorry but she thought he was gone. She described exactly where the body was and she had never been to that area before. The mother said no, she did not want to believe it. She said the police have searched that area twice. The psychic said that is where he is and when they search again, that's where they will find him, in the swamp before the rr tracks. But she had to wait almost another year before the police would go search that area again. When the weather got warm enough they family went out looking themselves because they could not get any help. They found him exactly where she said. That is an amazing thing to be able to do for people. I believe some individuals have a gift and they choose to use it to help others.

Psychics aren't so amazing when you take into consideration all of their misses. Of course when you have people who're prone to believe in such things, they'll always ignore that fact and focus on the occasional hit as valid evidence of something.

It's like playing the slot machines in a casino: you only need to win every once in a while to keep on putting money in the machine and pulling the handle.

I don't believe forum rules will permit me to say how I really feel about the ones who take advantage of people who've lost close family members and such so.......

Don't speak too quickly on that -- I've had personal experience with pyschic phenomena:

I was visiting two friends in Portland, Oregon. We were in Pioneer Square Mall, on the lower concourse, shopping in the little jewelry kiosk. My friend Jordan and I were looking at the jewelry when his fiancee, Lauren wandered off -- neither of us saw where she was going.

Jordan eventually noticed she was no longer with us and immediatlly jumps onto his celphone to call her. Meanwhile, I take a few steps away and my attention is drawn to a nearby store, a Body Shop outlet. I glance around the mall to see if she had stopped anywhere nearby, but my mind keeps pulling back to the Body Shop -- her Sense (yes, I use the uppercase 'S' intentionally) continually tells me 'I'm over here'.

Jordan calls me over (to make sure I wasn't vanishing, as well), and says that she's in another store a few feet down the mall concourse, so....away we go.

Needless to say, no Lauren at Jordan's location -- he'd misheard Lauren because of the mall's poor celphone reception.

She was in the Body Shop the entire time.

I reiterate, I had not seen Lauren leave. I didn't see where she was going, and I couldn't see into the Body Shop properly because of the shelf configuration (shelves were blocking line-of-sight).

Yet somehow, I knew.

Make of it what you will. It's not the first time that kind of thing has happened to me, either -- I have other stories, some from my high-school years and some from as far back as 12.

It was mentioned that those of us with such skills are embarrased to discuss them -- that's absolutely true. It's only in the last few years that I've become more open about discussing my experiences, and then only with close friends.

some people don't understand that everyone receives guidance, for themselves and others...and they are too afraid or closed to admit it's true....but I don't understand why they are so angry, critical, aggressive and judgemental...you can feel the venom practically spitting out of their mouths...the way they ''hate'' psychics, accusing them of taking advantage of people when that's clearly not what we were talking about. I guess that's why they can't hear their own guidance or recognize it when it shows up in front of them...too full of hatred to let in anything else...the feeling i get when i read these comments is such a low feeling, like i've been slimed...they are the ones putting hurtful energy and pain into the world...they are the ones taking advantage, preying of the vulnerability of genuine people who are asking sincere questions ...promoting their agenda of fear...

I believe what you are saying - once you trust the ''feelings'' and act on them they get stronger and more frequent

hard to explain colour to people who can't see - they simply don't believe it's there - or that it exists - oh well
