Mothman sightings were primarily within the time period of Nov. 12th 1966 to Dec 15th 1967, in W. Virginia. Have there been more sightings after that time period? I'm curious if they genuinely stopped after the collapse of the Silver Bridge?

I'm not trying to include Owlman sightings or where people might see the Mothman in their visions or dreams in the question. Just Mothman sightings.

Hey thanks for the links. You've done some research on this already. I just recently saw that Chicago had a number of Mothman (winged humanoid) sightings (2017). Got me thinking about how many sightings there may have been after the 60's. Not writing a book. Just really interested.

This article has a map showing the location of the sightings in Chicago. I worked on an upper floor in a Loop office building at the time and would always look around when I got up from my desk, but no Mothman for me.

Hey that's pretty interesting. So you never saw it yourself... haha.

Thanks for the link. I noticed that Lon Strickler from Phantoms and Monsters is represented as the expert in this article too. I've seen his name a bunch lately.

I always think it strange that there are some topics which attract the forum skeptics and deniers and some which they dont bother with. Generally the UFO ones are hotly denied and the ghostie/cryptid ones are left alone. Both are beyond normal and mysterious though.
