...people who have Venus as their ruling planet? What does it mean for everyone else?
Mercury goes retrograde quite frequently. And the results are not pleasant.
As a Libra with an upcoming birthday, I am concerned about Venus going retrograde.

Venus retrograde every 8 yrs; last one, I think, April of 2010. Retrograde in Scorpio from the 5th or 6th until the around Halloween.
Then returns to Libra until November16th. As someone with Scorpio in Venus, its not an ideal placement in charts. For strong relationships it may be a nice change. Could be interesting around your house. Look further at your Venus house placement as well. Then on the 24th, Full Moon in Taurus.
You can tell when Mercurys retrograde by forum posts. Who the Libras are should be easy to identify in Relationship forum.
As steeped as I've been in Astrology for so many years, I've never paid much attention to this, and one day I'll probably regret it that I hadn't. Perhaps it's the Aries in me that welcomes a good challenge, the beauty of the future is its uncertainties.
I concentrate more on Synastry between 2 people, what brings 2 people together, and elemental astrology: fire, earth, water, air.
I just seized the birthdate of Mike Pence's wife! Aha! Both Trump and Pence are earth-less, no feet on the ground, and married their opposites, very earthy women.
That's the stuff I get into!
One day I'll explore the ramifications of retrogrades.
I'm actually heartened, in a way, when I stumble across the many-many who find no credibility to Astrology, for if more found credibility in it, my big fear is it may be banned, as it's loaded to the gills with truth, and man is ice to truth, fire to falsehoods.

Yes, I can always tell when Mercury is retrograde. Because, it's a fast moving planet.
The Relationship forum? Hmmm....this Libran almost never posts on the relationship forum. If I do, it's to GIVE advice, not seek it.
I've read that it could be more than "interesting". More like horrifying.
