OK...I had an experience...tell me if it's the same thing...

One of our local radio stations always does a Halloween special from some 'spooky' place. One year, it was at a place called Milton School, over in Illinois.

You know how people will hear an EVP, and they'll say "It sounds like someone is saying blah blah blah"? Well usually, when I hear them...it's just mostly static sounding to me, and I think to myself "Ok...if y'all say so, I guess." For ME, I would have to strain really hard to hear what others seem to hear more clearly.

But this one particular time...it was either before a commercial break, or after the commercial break, but I heard this little kid...clear as a bell say "He's coming! Daddy's coming!"

No one referenced hearing that, at all. Seemingly...like maybe I was the only one that heard it.

There were no children on the premises at all, during the broadcast. And the Milton School is/was no longer a place of education. I think the owners at that time, were in the process of turning it into a bed a breakfast I think.

Hmm - Halloween?

Now I'm wondering if it was, "Yay! Daddy's coming"?

Or if it was like in "The Shining" - "Yikes! Daddy's coming"?

Yours could be an EVP or another frequency was picked up. It's not the same thing the original poster was talking about.

And some of the other posts weren't the same either. It seems the original premise is getting a little convoluted.

It was very...normal sounding. It didn't sound like an EVP at all. Not some disembodied sounding words...

It was clearly a small child's voice. Like maybe a 5 or 6 yr old. And it just seemed matter-of-fact. I want to say it was a little girl...but when kids are young, it's hard to tell just from the voice. It just sounded like she was saying that her daddy was coming to pick her up from school.

A woman who I'd gone to high school with just reached out to me today on FB. I didn't remember her at all (we had a few classes together, but we didn't hang out or anything), but she remember me because of an incident in high school, and once she reminded me, the whole memory came flooding back.

We were in a social studies class together, and I was bored, not paying attention, and daydreaming, when I heard the teacher say, "Class, 'Mary's' grandfather has just passed away." I immediately turned to Mary (who sat next to me), and told her, "I'm so sorry to hear about your grandpa."

Mary stared at me, and said, "What about my grandpa?" The teacher was staring at me, and asked me what I was talking about. I said, "You just said her grandpa died."

Cue a big huge ruckus as the teacher shamed me for saying something like that--she (and the rest of the class) insisted no such thing had been said. I was dying of embarrassment and wondering how I'd come up with this. Class settles back down, with me being in near tears from humiliation and guilt.

About 30 minutes later, the school secretary and a woman I didn't know comes to the class door, and asks the teacher and Mary to step into the hall, and for Mary to go ahead and bring her things with her. Mary identifies the other woman as her mom. Mary gathers up her stuff and goes out into the hall with the teacher. After a few minutes, the teacher comes back in the classroom, staring at me strangely, and tells the class Mary will be out for the next few days.

Class ends, and we're all leaving and the teacher calls me back and says quietly, "Indigo, Mary's mom came to get her because her grandfather died unexpectedly of a heart attack. How did you know?" I insisted that she (the teacher) had made the announcement in class. The teacher shook her head and said she hadn't said anything, because until the secretary and Mary's mom came to the room, she hadn't known herself.

Mary told me that she'd never forgotten that, because first she was really mad at me for what I'd said (she admitted she'd thought of kicking my ass after class over it), then when her mom got her, she told her mom what had happened in class. She said her mom got quiet and told Mary she didn't know, that it was strange.
I did tell Mary I was sorry for having upset her over that, she said not to worry about it, she was over it. She just wondered if I'd remembered it, and if anything else like that had ever happened to me.

While I have had other 'incidents', nothing quite like that, where I could have sworn that gaining knowledge I shouldn't have had happened in a manner that seemed quite real and normal (my experience of the teacher having told the class, which didn't happen). I'm not quite sure what that would be called.
The teacher probably had been intercommed, made the announcement and realized that was a serious mistake.

The problem with that is, why would ALL the other kids back the teacher up?

Read about the clair's here:

Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, Clairscent, Clairtangency, Clairgustance, Clairempathy & Channeling
So clair is what it's called. I never knew that. I know the phenomenon though. It's called Looking (seeing things intentionally) in my parts, also called Listening (hearing things intentionally). What I mean by intentionally is a person's ability to do this at will, as opposed to things randomly coming to them. There's another form that's called With Him (or Her) It Happens. Some people interpret this as hallucinating, but again, hallucination is random. There is more intent, direction and control here. People use it to find lost items, listen to conversations far away, go back into the past to learn ancient knowledge, and go into the future to see certain outcomes and conditions. The real clair is used in this manner. Unfortunately, charlatans abound, and they practice a fake version. In their version, there is no sight/sound, and they make false claims while deceiving others. The fake clair is used mostly to scare people and take their money. The fake clair is also used to break families/relationships apart and cause mischief and sickness. When charlatans get too caught up in their deceit, they end up hurting and sometimes destroying themselves.

Some people refer to the group of such senses as 'clair's' but their better known names are as shown in the list in the link I provided.

I've experienced a few from the list, but most of my experiences have been clairaudient - and almost always come to me randomly. But that's me and everyone is different.

I agree there are a lot of fakes out there when it comes to this kind of thing. Even genuine readers are tired of getting a black eye because of the charlatans.

They weren't paying attention? Or more likely the children side with the one grading their papers.
