When you look at the least densely populated states like Alaska , North Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming you will see there are only a few reported Big Foot sightings. Here are two links so you can do the comparison: https://www.bfro.net/GDB/ and this link: http://worldpopulationreview.com/states/.
The point is that areas that we would think they would been seen in; they are not. Or; I should say not as often.
That's too easy. Hardly any indicators for Karst topography in those areas. Look at the Karst map.
Maybe, but I think there are alot of people who intentionally make fake reports or try to pull of hoaxes, (im not going to get into why they do this), but it is somewhat strange that this would happen in many other areas and not in some.
Ive read about some people that plan to create fake sightings and hoaxes, they will go out in the woods and have someone else dress up or stand far away and they will try to capture a 'blobsquatch' , just so they can report a fake/hoax.
Many in our colleges and universities seek attention. Most of the time it is trying to out do the previous class or prank. Of course some will turn their attention to Big Foot. The hard part is fooling the public or some of the students and not the insiders on the prank. They want their friends or people in their fraternity or circle to know that they created this prank. I think it is one of those things where students try to prove that they are smarter than the rest of us while, at the same time, demonstrating that they have grow up!

Right, so doesnt it seem odd, there would be MANY more people doing this kind of thing in certain areas, and in other areas, not hardly anyone..?? (there are immature people in EVERY CITY and state)

I guess it all boils down to the 'drinking on campus' regulations!
